Grace Ejere Light is a graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained his LL.B in 2015. A year later in 2016, he was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Before joining Okeagu & Associates Chambers toward the end of 2021, he worked with the law firm of Chief Ladosu Ladapo (SAN) & Co. in Ibadan in 2018, and the law firm of Fadele & Fadele in 2020. He is a litigation lawyer with interests in corporate law, alternative dispute resolution, health law and real estate and property management. He was inducted as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) in 2017 in Abuja, and also became a Fellow of the Institute for Public Health Advocacy (IPHA) based in Chicago, USA in 2021. Notable in the course of his career, he has successfully advised startup businesses on best practices, worked successfully on research with a team in the 2019 Presidential Election tribunal. During his time in Ibadan, he prepared an originating summons and an interlocutory injunction to the High Court of Justice, Ibadan in 2019 which prevented the withdrawal of over N8,000,000,000 (Eight Billion Naira) by the outgoing administration at the time in favour of the incoming government. He has also successfully advised married couples in resolving marital disputes and also prevented needless divorce. He is in charge of the general office administration of the Ijebu Ode Head Office. He continually seeks to improve the quality of his legal services and has received favorable commendations from both clients and colleagues alike.
